Like all small businesses, COVID-19 is having a serious impact on our day-to-day processes. We wanted to share a quick update on how our business is changing to accommodate provincial and federal public health recommendations. And we wanted to share that update via a blog post, not another email.

We're working from home. Beyond asking our team to simply wash their hands more often while at work, or to social distance on lunch breaks, as soon as the recommendation was made, we transitioned to a distance model. We're all staying inside, not contributing to the spread of COVID-19 by transiting to work. Our goldsmiths and designers are sharing information, coordinating orders, pick ups, and drop offs, according to safe distancing and thorough cleaning guidelines.

We've closed our showroom. We didn't want to close our showroom, but it was the right thing to do. We will re-open our showroom when our provincial health authority gives the all clear.

We're on track with our production timelines. Despite the transition to working from home, we are still on track with our production timelines. This is all thanks to our amazing goldsmiths and jewellers, without whom we would not be in business. Our customer service team is also pulling overtime to assuage any concerns from customers, and our designers are on hand to answer styling or custom questions.

We're still taking custom orders. Speaking of custom questions! We are still doing custom designs, though these may see a very slight timeline extension depending on our upstream producers. If diamonds are not shipping, for example, there may be a delay. But we will be able to continue producing custom designed engagement rings during our work from home period.

We are living for your tags on Instagram. Like you, we're sad to not be spending time with our people! We miss hosting you in our showroom, and excited folks teetering up to our door to pick up their engagement rings. So when you tag us on Instagram, it gives us life. Show us what you've got, and we'll share!

We'll keep you notified as our plans change and when our showroom reopens, but until then, we wish you and yours all the best during this trying time. Take care and be well!
