Our favourite Vancouver photographers: a round up! Now more than ever, couples are opting for a series of photographs rather than the traditional wedding day only package. From engagement photos, to bachelorette or stag party photos, to wedding day photos, to anniversary photos, and perhaps maternity or parental photos, photographers are playing an increasingly important role in how we remember the important dates in our lives.

Husband and wife team Ken and Kristy are a the definition of "dynamic duo," with Ken excelling in catching those intimate candid moments, and Kristy slaying those jaw dropping editorial photos. "I love creating that 'WOW' photo that will catch your eye, as well as, capturing all the little details that couples have spend so much time (and money) deciding and dreaming about," writes Kristy. BVW Weddings

Brian is a long time photographer who was based in Victoria for several years but now resides in Vancouver. His style emphasizes those amazing candid moments, and his dance floor reception photos are the best we've ever seen. Brian is the kind of photographer to form a relationship with, because he also excels in family photography, and could document you at many different stages of life.

Sachin Khona

Sachin Khona's work is some of the most striking we've come across. Dramatic, high contrast colours and striking compositional elements are the markers of Sachin's work, and the resulting photographs are literal pieces of artwork you'll want blown up and framed. 

Hailey Rae

Hailey's work makes the best of wedding days and engagement sessions alike. Her pricing is one of the more moderate options for couples on a tighter budget, but the quality and vision of her work is A-Grade. Her aesthetic is light, airy, and super romantic.

Isle + Oak Photography

Isle + Oak Photography are creating photographs that stop you dead in your tracks. They're that striking. "It’s never our goal to create a dramatic scene, but rather to document the real moments that are shared between real people," Chris and Sam write.
